Had water hammer (19months )!!!!!!!!!!!!!in block of flats 3 flats each side 6 in total can you beleive it !!!!!!!!
Council workers plum dumbers 25 of them later cant source the noise in neighbours property on top flat im on ground .every time they use their taps 8am till 12 midnight you get the thudd and the double dud .no one is directly above me house lies empty most of the time .
Soooo mains water pipe goes up the building not sure wher it comes in to my property though
Assuming the hammer noise is on the mains pipe would a big arrester and pressure reducing valve installed in my property on the mains pipe resolve my issue once and for all .thanks or what should i do .
